Town & Country Motel

I travel for work. The place is quiet. The owners are friendly and nice.

We came at night when all the others were fully booked in Decatur or cost over $200 for just one night. This one was the only hotel available for $70 a night. We were very surprised with how nice of a room we had. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. And additionally, the hotel is right next to a gas station open till midnight that had a lot of good items such as fresh food and other things you might need. If you need a place to stay around the area, I highly recommend this hotel.

These guys are awesome and very understanding! They will work with you. Their rooms are also clean and spacious. For the price i definitely felt comfortable and welcomed!

Can't speak for all the rooms but mine was so big I got jealous. Bed was extremely soft like memory foam and the price was lower than expected. I stayed a week. Good choice.

Overall as a traveler I highly recommend to stay here. Safe clean and good host Atmosphere: rooms were clean and spacious. Quiet atmosphere. For something that is reasonably priced and in a smaller town they keep it quiet. Not the kind of place you feel unsafe or afraid to leave your car parked. There were only polite guests that weren't loud or disruptive. The bed was comfy and large. Plenty pillows.. Carpet and bathrooms very clean. Everything in the room was working and in order. The owner was super acomodating and worked with me. I had made a reservation and couldn't make it because of inclement weather. The way I had booked meant the room was non-refundable. But the owner allowed me to move my reservation anyway. Because of this i booked directly through them for my next stay. I recommend doing this always here. The owner gives amazing rates. Friendly and a pleasure to do business with. He will do his best to work with you.

Rooms are outdated,but clean. The bathrooms need the most remodeling, as blue toilets and bathtubs are way out of date. No sign of bedbugs. Went with my daughter and granddaughter, 02/28/25-03/02/25. We all agreed we've stayed in better places, but we have also stayed in much worse.

The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I had a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were more than sufficient for my needs, and I appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. What truly stood out to me was the excellent service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, providing helpful information about the local area and even recommending some nearby restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was delightful, offering a good variety of options to kickstart the day. It was a perfect way to save time and get ready for my daily adventures. The Town & Country Motel provides great value for the price, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay, this is the perfect choice. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to the area. I've be been staying here since the old owners where here. Now it is under new owner and he has improved the motel a great deal in the short time he has had it. And he isn't done yet. His rates are fair, the rooms are very clean and bug free. Jim does what he can to make your stay a pleasant one.
